Astra Insurance Services is excited to announce a long-time Chapman staple, Chip Edwards Insurance Store, is now operating within Astra’s Chapman location at 1130 N. Marshall. Edwards Insurance was opened in 1947 by Chip’s father, Vic Edwards. Chip took over the business in 1973 and merged with Astra Insurance services in January 2019. We are proud to continue the legacy of this business with such deep roots.
The Same Faces
Edward’s stepson Drew Snitker will be working with Chip and ensuring that all of his clients receive the same level of professional service. Snitker, a Dickinson County native, brings with him over 10 years of experience as a loan officer at Astra Bank and is excited to now be serving the community’s insurance needs. Chip will still be active in the business, having an office located within Astra Bank’s Chapman location.
Also joining the Astra Insurance Services team will be Becki Nyquist, who has been working under Chip at The Insurance Store for the last three years. We believe her experience and expertise will be a great asset to the group.
They will be joining our current Astra Insurance Services team, Todd Nuss, Pam Lewallen, and Kristine Sedersten. Nuss and Sedersten are currently located in Sutton, NE while Lewallen is in Plainville, KS.
