This course is designed to help people escape their debt and regain control of their financial lives through education on those first crucial steps that must be taken for self-improvement.
Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University has been an integral part of the success that many have had in improving their financial security. It’s a 9-week course devoted to educating, encouraging, and empowering people to make financial decisions with confidence. The course has helped millions over the years and research done by the Harvard Business School supports the course’s methods used for handling debt.
The course will be hosted by Neighbor to Neighbor – Abilene, located at 803 N. Cedar St. in Abilene and will be once a week on Monday evenings, 6:00pm to 7:30pm, from September 9th to November 4th. The cost is only $50.00 per couple if you register through Neighbor to Neighbor - Abilene, a huge discount versus the normal $119.00 cost and childcare is provided on site. Volunteers from Astra Bank will participate at no extra cost to support and mentor participants.
Neighbor to Neighbor - Abilene, established in 2017, is a not-for-profit organization offering “a place where women of all walks of life, with or without children, can find mutual support in an encouraging and safe environment.” The activities, groups, and tools they offer help support the Abilene community.
