One of Astra Bank’s core values is Teamwork. We believe we are at our best when we combine all of our individual efforts. This applies to our organization and to the way we work together with our markets to build strong communities. One of these ways is through our School Spirit Debit Card Program.

The goal of this program is to generate funds for local schools through school spirit (and debit card swipes). Astra Bank customers can purchase a School Spirit Debit Card for their local school and Astra Bank will donate a portion of every transaction to that school. With each extra card we add to the program, Astra Bank is able to generate more funds that can help schools put on activities, buy supplies, or purchase whatever they need to help facilitate better education for local kids.

We are excited to announce Astra Bank in Chapman recently presented a check with proceeds from this program to USD 473, home of the Fighting Irish! The funds, totaling $1,419.48, were generated with the help of the Chapman community swiping their debit cards.

Over the past 6 years, Astra Bank has donated almost $7,000 to USD 473!
