The mission of the Shining Star program is to recognize an employee who has significantly contributes to the overall success of Astra Bank. We're proud to announce that Justin Rogge has been awarded the Officer of the Year Shining Star Award!

The reason(s) Justin was nominated and chosen as a recipient for the Officer of the Year Shining Star award from his peers are:

• Justin has done an exceptional job as the VP of Information Systems throughout 2014.
• In his position, Justin is responsible for administering Astra Bank’s local area, and wide area, wireless networks, telephone and VoiceOver IP systems, internet and intranet and all related software programs.
• The professionalism and efficiency in which Astra Bank’s IT department is ran, is a direct reflection on Justin’s dedication and commitment to his position within the bank.
• Justin has done a great job as the web administrator where he is in charge of installing and maintaining all web setups and monitoring performance.
• He is also in charge of servicing the IT needs of all 8 locations, plus national billing.
• Justin‘s initiative to train and develop his Network Administrator over the past year has help to create a solid structure for the IT team.
• He has prepared Astra for continual growth in the future with the new server room and server configuration.
• He has upgraded all of the bank’s old technology with new laptops and/or desktops.
• Justin also implemented a help desk function, which is currently administered by Brent. This allows issues to be answered and fix in a timely manner.
• Finally, Justin’s managerial skills continue to develop and show through his employee’s success in their position within the bank
