Astra Bank is proud to announce its plans to acquire Midwest Community Bank, pending regulatory approval. Astra Bank will acquire both Midwest Community Bank locations – Plainville, Kansas and Palco, Kansas.

The acquisition is expected to be finalized in the first quarter of 2017. Campbell said Midwest Community Bank’s current customers can expect a seamless transition with no interruption to service. “Our intention is for Midwest Community Bank’s customers to never be inconvenienced in the slightest by this change over. We think they will find being Astra Bank customers a very positive experience,” Campbell added.
