Astra Bank is pleased to announce that Brendon Gross, Loan Officer, has been promoted to AVP Loan Officer and Market President for our Plainville location. Brendon has worked at Astra Bank as a Loan Officer since March of 2013. Prior to joining the Astra Bank team, Brendon worked at First National Bank in Goodland as a Loan Officer for three years. When presented with an opportunity to join the Astra Bank team, he was very excited about coming “back home” and working in the community where he grew up.

Community involvement is something that Brendon is very passionate about. He, along with fellow bank employees, has helped with events like Paradise Creek Festival, RookStock, 4-H and the Rooks County Fair. You will almost always find Brendon cheering on the home team or promoting the Plainville Cardinal High School Debit Card at school enrollment. He has also helped cook lunch for the faculty of USD 270 and Sacred Heart Grade School. Brendon continues to increase his community involvement, as he was recently named the Key Banker for the Rooks County Conversation.

When Brendon isn’t rooting on the Cardinals from the stands, he enjoys managing his farm and livestock operation. For a little rest and relaxation, you will likely find him on any golf course within a 200-mile radius of Plainville... during the season, of course. Brendon has shown true commitment to the Plainville community and looks forward to continued involvement. So whether you see him around town, in the bank, or maybe even on the golf course please congratulate Brendon on his accomplishment! You are sure to be greeted with a smile and a handshake.
