Every day, thousands of people fall victim to fraudulent emails, texts and calls from scammers pretending to be their bank. And in this time of expanded use of online banking, the problem is only growing worse.

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act passed on March 27^th, 2020 was a massive effort to provide stability to the American people during this time. Scammers, however, have taken advantage of the information and misinformation swirling around the internet about the policies and procedures regarding the specifics of receiving this aid.
