The Astra Bank Mobile Banking App will update on March 30^th, 2022. This update will integrate card management features that allow cardholders to better utilize and manage their cards, understand their spending, and engage in real time with suspicious activity.

There have recently been reports of an increase in account takeover schemes around the country. Astra Bank would like to take this opportunity to educate our customers on what these schemes are and how to avoid them.

A popular (and typically convenient) method of 2FA utilizes a password and a text message to your phone with a code that must be input before accessing your account. While this method is on average more secure than just using a password, hackers still have ways of getting that text code, either by SMS exploits or through social engineering.
